April 25, 2017

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) recently responded to the home of Jennifer Morrison of Palm Beach County, after receiving a tip that dozens of dead pythons were found in the home.  Inside the officers found over 100 ball pythons stored in plastic bins.

Morrison, 59, was at one time a reptile dealer according to state records.  Morrison is listed as a manager of Jupiter Reptiles & Exotics LLC, now-inactive.  Morrison faces imprisonment and up to a $5000 fine for confinement of animals without sufficient food, water, or exercise and animal abandonment.  Morrison was recently placed into custody under the Baker Act.
