Florida Men Caught with Crabs and Reptiles in a Van in Florida Keys

FWC officers arrested two men in the Florida Keys for the unlicensed possession of over a hundred crabs and reptiles.  Daniel Lawlor, 35, and Ashtyn Rance, 30, were arrested for not having a license to possess or transport wildlife, contrary to sections 379.362(2)(A), (4)(A), Florida Statutes, and Florida Administrative Code Rule 68B-2.007.  FWC recovered 27 giant day geckos, 33 green iguana, 16 anole lizards, 37 land hermit crabs, and a red rat snake.  FWC euthanized the non-native species and released the remainder.
