Companion Animal Subcommittee

Purpose

The Companion Animal Committee is a substantive law committee of the section that promotes the exchange of ideas within The Florida Bar and with other organizations regarding companion animals.  The Companion Animal Committee studies issues, cases, statutes, and ordinances relating to dogs, cats, and other companion animals.  It works with other sections of the Bar, such as family, criminal, and local government law, to raise awareness of the companion animal issues that exist in these areas of law.
